April Favourties

Another month gone by...another favourites post to share.

So I don't seem to have a lot of well used products this month but  I do have a few holiday favs in here this month.

If you follow me on social media you will know that I have just been to Cyprus for a week.  I will get a blog up this week on where we went and share my experience with you.

1.  My first favourite this month and something perfect for holiday is something that I know most of you probably own, it is the invisibobbles.  There are a lot of stores that sell these now as they are very popular.  I tend to pick mine up from Primark as they are only £1.  Great for tying back your hair when in and out of the pool or just to get it out of the way for topping up the tan so you don't get your hair covered in cream

2.  Piz Buin Sun Cream - For my holiday I have found that Piz Buin do a brilliant range of sun ta lotions in different SPF and they smell lovely.  They are moisturising on the skin and don't feel sticky or greasy when applied.  I swear by this brand when I am on holiday.

March favourites

Hi again,
I have been thinking of some ideas for new blog posts recently so I can start uploading in between the monthly favs 😀

How has it got to another month already?

My favourites this month are a mixture of old and new items.

1.  The first favourite is another book I have read called Sister Sister by Sue Fortin.
I have been trying to get back into reading before I go on hop in a few weeks and I really enjoy it.  I have a 30 min train journey every morning so it passes the time quickly.  I don't want to give away what the book is about but I was hooked. There was a couple of twists in it that I really was not expecting.  I think I had read it in about 3 days.  Once I get hooked on a book I can't pout it down, so I need lots to read whilst I go away so if you have any recommendations please comment or tweet me @princesshailz1

January 2017 favourites

Hello you beauty's, hope you have all had a lovely January.  Mine has been very busy with lots going on but I wanted to state my top 10 fav products of the month that I just can't put down.  I am going to try and keep my products varied each month and switch them up to review new products for you.

1.  Marc Jacobs - Daisy Dream perfume
I have been loving this wearing it all the time out of work.  I would wear it all day but it would be gone so fast if I did that!  Perfume is one item (as well as make up) that I like to have a nice selection off! It has a floral fruity smell and isn't too heavy to wear.

Trafford Centre Mini Haul

On Sunday we went for a shopping spree at the Trafford centre, to spend some of the Christmas vouchers that we received.

There was a few essentials that I needed (make up as usual) and a few new products I wanted to buy.

First shop...River Island, I picked up a gorgeous black top with mesh detail on the top and bottom.  Cute for wearing with jeans or a nice skirt.
I also picked up two causal high neck knitted tops in black and orange which will go well with jeans and some trainers or flats or dress it up a but with some heels.  I have been looking for a silver watch for a while to wear when I get dressed up to go out and managed to find one with silver diamonds around the face and some grey detail on the strap.

November Favourites - Top 10

I have tried out a few new products recently, which I have been reviewing on here but I wanted to start posting monthly favourites, whether these be beauty products, home décor or anything else that I love.

1.  Nivea for Men Post Shave Balm - I have been using this for a while now and I am loving it.  It works great as a primer/moisturiser.  Sometimes I use this on it so own, sometimes I will put it on top of my moisturiser.  It helps my make up to last all day and works really well with my skin.

More New Make Up!

Hello,

In my last post I did a quick review on the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette.  Whilst in Debenhams purchasing that I pick up a couple of other products.  You know what its like, you go in looking for one thing, enquire about something else and before you know it you have tried out soooo many products and walked away with a few more than what you originally went in for!

You can never have toooo much make up....Right?!?

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette Review

I have been loving my urban decay naked palettes but I wanted a new one for fall with some different shades so I went to get a Too Faced eye shadow palette.  I came away with the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette.  It has 16 lovely shades with a range of matte and shimmer shades.  Perfect browns/red and pinks for autumn.  The colours are sooo pigmented to, and after trailing them over a week they do last all day!

I have tried and tested a number of concealers for a number of different problem areas that I have and I have found a few that work for me.  Most of these products are from a drug store so they are very affordable.

Rimmel Wake Me Up
Maybelline Age Rewind Eye Eraser (Light)
L'Oréal True Match (2 Vanilla)
No7 (Cool Rose)

Fake Tan

As summer is coming to an end and Autumn/Winter is setting in, no more summer sun to keep my skin a lovely natural bronzed shade so I have to resort to sunbeds and fake tan to keep my skin glowing all year round!

My go to products at the moment are St Moritz in the mousse or Dove Summer Glow for medium to dark skin.  I'm not a naturally pale person so I do pick up the darker shade of the tans.

Primer

Choosing a good primer that lasts and doesn't make your make up slide around your face can be hard.

Each and everyone of us has a different skin tone and type.  Some products that work for your friends might not work for you.  I have had to go through a bit of trial and error to find ones that I like and that work for my skin.

I sit watching you tube videos every day and I always like to try new products that people recommend, (I have been through quite a few!)

At the moment I don't have too many in my collection as I have found a couple that I really like.

All about Lips

Sorry I have been a bit quiet these past 2 weeks, I have been soooo busy at work I haven't been able to get my head into writing a blog post, but I am back, after a good nights sleep, a lazy weekend off work and time to get some posts wrote.

Today I'm going to be talking all things lips, going through the products that I have and what are my fav, and also some of the products that I want to try out, and have yet to get my hands on.

I haven't got a HUGE collection of lip products, but it is slowly growing!

Stand I ordered from Ebay, it is an acrylic lipstick/lipgloss holder.
This keeps them all together neat and tidy

Foundation Review

I have tried a lot of foundations over the years, as we all have.  Going through the stages of trial and error, finding the right colour etc, and over the years there has been a lot of different products on the market from drug store to high end, or a matte to dewy finish, but I have found a few from the ones that I have tried that I keep going back too.
I find certain ones I wear more than others but I do like to change it up a bit and not wear the same one ALL the time.
One brand I have used for ever and always go back to is Loreal.  They have a good range for all skin types and different finishes, depending on the coverage and look that you are going for.
I have 3 in my collection at the moment.

My Make Up Collection

I have always loved wearing make up and trying out new products but it is only the past 2 years that I have started to try out more products and try some high end beauty products too, although I still use a lot of drug store ones.

I will do a different post for each range of products, some posts may contain a couple of products if I don't have a large collection.

I am no expert by any means and all my views are my own personal opinion.

Any new products that I get I will do a full review of when I have tested them on myself.
